Our commitment
Black Lotus Financial Group, LLC ("BLFG," "we," "us") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website.
We believe that everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technologies — should be able to learn about our services, contact us, and book a consultation without barriers.
Conformance standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard recommended by the U.S. Department of Justice for compliance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Conformance is an ongoing process. We continue to test and improve our site, and we believe the current site substantially meets WCAG 2.1 AA, with the limitations noted below.
Measures we take to support accessibility
- Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks and heading hierarchy.
- Alt text for all meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately.
- Text contrast targeting WCAG 2.1 AA ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements, with visible focus states.
- "Skip to content" links for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- ARIA labels on icons, decorative elements, and interactive controls where context is not otherwise obvious.
- Responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small-screen devices without loss of content or functionality.
- Reduced-motion support for users who set the operating-system preference.
Compatibility with assistive technology
The site is designed to be compatible with the following combinations:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), TalkBack (Android).
- Browsers: recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile.
- Magnification: browser zoom up to 200%; OS-level magnifiers.
- Keyboard-only navigation using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys.
The site may not work as well with browsers more than three versions out of date, or with assistive technologies that have been discontinued by their developers.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet meet our accessibility goals. Specifically:
- Third-party embeds. The Calendly booking widget is provided by a third party and falls under their accessibility standards. Calendly publishes a VPAT and accessibility documentation. If you cannot use the widget, please email or call us instead and we will book the meeting for you manually.
- Decorative typography. Some display headings use a serif typeface with stylistic italic accents. These remain readable, but if you find any specific element difficult to read, please let us know.
- Video and audio. The site does not currently host video or audio content. If we add any in the future, we will provide captions and transcripts.
